Learn More About School Night Outs Each October, pre-school and school age kids from groups
just like yours visit the Great Pumpkin Round-up at the Bellevue Berry &
Pumpkin for educational, outdoor fun.
If you are looking for an activity that's matched to the
bustling energy your group has, this is it! Children have the opportunity
to experience hands-on pumpkin farming! We're looking forward to seeing
your group soon at the Great Pumpkin Roundup! Our Tour
Includes the Following Education Centers Social
Studies & Multi-Cultural Activities:
Frontier Town Tour- Activities: Walk through a
replica of an Old West Town that includes a Dr./Dentist Office, General
Store, Chinese Laundry, Hotel & Saloon, Blacksmith & Undertaker, Boot Hill,
and authentic Native American tepees. Physical Fitness &
Coordination:
How the West Was Fun Barn- Activities: slides,
ladders, crooked room, horse swings
The Adventure Course- Activities: zip lines,
rope climb, balancing tree, suspension bridge History:
The Lewis & Clark Keelboat- Activities: Learn the
historical significance of Lewis & Clark, experience the climbing mountain and trike track Science:
The Ranch Animal Corral- Activities: visit and pet
a variety of farm animals, discover exciting information about their habitat
Agriculture:
Haunted Hayride and Pumpkin Pickin'- Activities:
Ride through the Haunted Forest to the Great Pumpkin Roundup, see how the
pumpkins are grown and harvested, pick out a small pumpkin for each child.
Also see the raspberry patch on the way back to the barn.

Cowboy Ed, the owner of the Bellevue Berry & Pumpkin Ranch, has years of
experience that he can share with your students. His articles have been
published throughout the agricultural community in cooperation with the USDA
Department of Agriculture. Here is one of his articles that is available on

October 31.
Allow a minimum of one hour, longer if your group is able to participate in
all activities. Outdoor picnic areas available for your sack lunches or
snacks. Handicap Access: A wagon with a ramp is
available for wheelchair use, as well as a handicap restroom
